Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force (EDIAG)
Purpose
: To explore the role of EDI within IFOMP.
Composition: Laura Finucane and Jasdeep Dhir (Co-Chairs), Dusty Quinn (EC), Aline Miranda Ferreira (EC), Hayat Mostaffa, Lucas Migrenne, Moyo Tillery, Francisco Araujo, Amy Fagan, Annelies Pool-Goudzwaard and Ingrid du Toit

Qualifications: Members must belong to a MO, AMO, or RIG of IFOMPT. Members who represent some of the many the different facets of IFOMPT.

2023-2028 Charges 
Objective 1: Investigate an understanding of EDI within IFOMPT
Objective 2: To understand how best EDI will assist IFOMPT
Objective 3: To develop an EDI policy for IFOMPT
Objective 4: To review the IFOMPT constitution (Article X Executive Committee) Rights and Duties of the Executive Committee).

Communication and Reporting: The EDIAG Chair will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between the advisory group and the EC.

Working Methods: The EDIAG will work remotely using email, video conferencing, online meeting platforms, or any other technology as needed to enable fair and reasonable consideration of any matters. All documents will be available to members in electronic format, information contained in documents is confidential to IFOMPT staff, the EDIAG, and the EC.

Conflict of Interest: Members of the EDIAG will comply with IFOMPT’s conflict of interest policy and code of conduct policy, and any other relevant policies, at all times. Members will declare any matters that may create a true or perceived conflict of interest or bias at the start of each meeting and at other times as required by policies.

Limitation on Powers: EDIAG cannot invite further individuals onto the group without the specific agreement of the EC.
